Legal & Operating Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Real Medical Transport website, online ride request platform, and 24/7 scheduled non-emergency medical transportation services across San Diego County and Los Angeles County.
Real Medical Transport provides planned, non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for routine appointments, rehabilitation sessions, dialysis treatments, and hospital discharges. We do not provide emergency medical services, paramedic care, or emergency ambulance transport. If you or a passenger are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Submitting an online ride request form through this website or leaving a preliminary voicemail does not constitute an automatically confirmed reservation.
All fares are established on a transparent, predictable basis:
To ensure passenger comfort and vehicular safety, riders must be booked under the appropriate vehicle category:
For riders who can walk independently or with minimal guidance. Walker and folding mobility aid storage included.
Equipped with ADA-compliant ramps or hydraulic lifts and 4-point Q’Straint tie-down floor tracks.
For riders requiring full recumbent position with secure crash-tested locking cot mounts and room-to-room coordination.
One companion or family escort may ride alongside the passenger at no additional fee, provided seating space is available.
The safety of our riders, drivers, and the community is paramount:
While Real Medical Transport makes every effort to maintain punctual schedules, we are not liable for transit delays resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable operational control, including severe traffic congestion, highway closures, severe weather events, unforeseen vehicle mechanical breakdowns, or medical facility discharge delays.
Under no circumstances shall Real Medical Transport be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from missed scheduled appointments.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms or transit services shall be instituted in the state courts located in San Diego County or Los Angeles County, California.
